Her New Year resolution
More aggressively play to win, while sticking to my faith -- Momoko's New Year resolution is...something like that. Umm, I hope my bad translation is working well for it....
After she played a pro-am at the Sony Open in Hawaii, the second PGA Tour tournament, Momoko seems to be staying in Hawaii for a little bit more for more training.
She will come back to Japan by the end of January and attend a training camp in Yamanashi Prefecture.
In her 2010 season, Momoko will play tournaments on the LPGA Tour and on the LPGA of Japan Tour on a half-and-half basis.
As for playing in Japan, she will join a couple of ones starting with the opener the Daikin Orchid Ladies Golf Tournament in Okinawa Prefecture to pick up steam for better performance in the U.S., according to the press.

Hitachi 3 Tours Championship 2009
Although she gave her opponents some mouth just before the one-day competition started Sunday in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, Momoko Ueda and her mates from the LPGA of Japan Tour were not able to sweep away the male senior players from the PGA of Japan Tour; however, the ladies defeated the male players from the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO).
At the team competition, five players were selected from each of the three Tours.
From the LPGA of Japan Tour, Sakura Yokomine, Shinobu Moromizato, Chie Arimura, MiJeong Jeon, who are the top-four players on the 2009 LPGA of Japan Official Money List, and Momoko joined the team competition.
On the morning, the three Tour teams competed with one another in a 9-hole alternate shot format.
In the format, a pair of players from each of the teams was part of one party (i.e. one party was composed of six players), competed on a side against two other pairs, and each side played one ball. For the first stage of the competition, two parties were built up.
In the first party, Momoko paired with Chie Arimura and they made two birdies and no bogeys to finish the first stage at 2-under-par 34 and get 1 point, while their opponent PGA of Japan pair at 4-under-par 32, 3 points and JGTO pair at 3-under-par 33, 2 points.
As the two parties were playing on the first stage, the LPGA of Japan team got 3 points, the PGA of Japan team 6 points, and the JGTO team 3 points,.
On the afternoon, the three Tour teams competed with one another in a 9-hole stroke play match.
In the match, one player from each of the teams was part of one party (i.e. one party was composed of three players) and competed against two other players to win a 9-hole stroke play. For the second stage of the competition, five parties were built up.
In the first party, Momoko made three birdies and one bogey to finish the second stage at 2-under-par 34 and get 2.5 points, while her opponent PGA of Japan player at 2-under-par 34, 2.5 points and JGTO player at 1-under-par 35, 1 point.
As the five parties were playing on the second stage, the LPGA of Japan team got 9.5 points, the PGA of Japan team 11.5 points, and the JGTO team 9 points.
In total of the two stages, the LPGA of Japan team got 12.5 points, the PGA of Japan team 17.5 points, and the JGTO team 12 points.
Therefore, the PGA of Japan team won the championship, the LPGA of Japan team grasped the second place, and the JGTO team was contented with the last place.
Momoko has effectively completed her 2009 season and is expected to show up at some entertainment events for her fans before she begins her 2010 season.
